About The Role
EKC Group is seeking a skilled Supply Lecturer to join their approved staffing list. As a Supply Lecturer, you will teach, train, and assess students in various learning environments, ensuring a high-quality learning experience. Your role will also involve providing support to learners to enable them to achieve their maximum potential and leading designated study programmes and/or courses. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, delivering, and evaluating programmes, as well as contributing to the development of curriculum materials.
About You
- You will have experience in multi-trade services such as Carpentry, Bricklaying, Plumbing, Plastering, Painting & Decorating, and Electrical.
- You will be organized and creative, with the ability to plan and teach engaging and innovative lessons.
- You will be confident in sharing your knowledge with learners and assessing and tracking students' progress to further plan intervention.
- You will ensure all students develop the skills they need to succeed.
- While a qualified teacher is preferred, experience in delivering training in the workplace is also valuable, and training can be provided.
- You will have a positive outlook and be empathetic towards learners.
Working in Further Education is distinct from working in a secondary school, as you will be supporting adults and young people in practical environments and machine workshops with lathes, CNC, and Milling Machines.
