Advanced Clinical Practitioner Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Advanced Clinical Practitioner to join our team at Primarycare24. As a key member of our Out of Hours Services, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the growth and development of our social enterprise.

About the Role

As an Advanced Clinical Practitioner, you will be responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and providing advice, care, and management to patients presenting with undiagnosed or undifferentiated illness via telephone consultations or face-to-face assessments. You will work autonomously, demonstrating clinical reasoning, critical thinking, and advanced clinical skills, supported by GP colleagues in the out-of-hours setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Undertake face-to-face and telephone triage consultations, demonstrating high levels of competence and advanced skills in clinical examination and diagnosis.
  • Interpret pathology/radiology results/reports and take appropriate action.
  • Develop and maintain excellent interpersonal and communication skills to provide enhanced discussions with patients and their families.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a Master's degree in Advanced Clinical Practice and experience of working in the acute sector, urgent/emergency services environment, or out-of-hours services at a senior level. You will also need to be able to undertake comprehensive assessments, diagnose, plan, and prescribe medication.

Locations

We have opportunities available in Liverpool, Wavertree, Old Swan, and Huyton.

Shift Times

We operate a variety of shift patterns, including weekdays, weekends, and bank holidays. You will be required to work a minimum of 20 hours per week, with opportunities for additional hours.
