Senior Support Worker Opportunity

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Senior Support Worker to join our team at Wellington Care, a subsidiary of Hull and East Yorkshire Mind. As a Senior Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing tailored support to adults with complex needs, promoting their mental health and wellbeing.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide safe and welcoming living environments, with around the clock care and support within the community.
  • Work collaboratively with clients, families, and other professionals to develop and implement personalized support plans.
  • Contribute to the development and delivery of care and support services, ensuring they meet the needs of our clients.
  • Work flexibly to meet the needs of our clients and the organization, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated experience working in a senior role, with a strong understanding of mental health and wellbeing.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients, families, and colleagues.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible and adaptable approach.
  • Knowledge of relevant legislation, policies, and procedures, with a commitment to maintaining confidentiality and upholding professional boundaries.
