Job Information:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chef to join our team at Elior, a multi-award-winning people business and one of the UK's leading contract caterers.

Responsibilities:

As a Relief Chef, you will be proactively managing and supporting a catering team, creating a platform for financial growth through cost control and culinary excellence.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Recruiting, training, supporting, and people development to deliver an efficient, high-quality service to customers and clients.
  • Maintaining, ordering, and controlling food stocks within budget.
  • Ensuring ongoing team communications, including building internal and external relationships, management reporting, and client liaison to enable operational excellence.
  • Accountable for COSHH, Food Safety, H&S, legal regulations, environmental policies, and duty of care to customers and colleagues.

Requirements:

We are looking for a candidate with proven leadership ability, a genuine interest in customer service excellence, and a strong team player with highly confident and positive attitude.

You will also require catering experience with chef skills, preferably in contract catering. Senior chef management experience is essential.
