Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Domestic Assistant to join our team at Murray Royal Hospital. As a key member of our Domestic Services Department, you will play a vital role in maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene within our healthcare setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work collaboratively with our team to deliver exceptional cleaning services across Perth & Kinross locality.
  • Ensure all areas, including wards, side rooms, theatres, offices, and health centers, are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
  • Develop and maintain a methodical approach to cleaning, ensuring all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Communicate effectively with colleagues and management to ensure seamless delivery of cleaning services.
  • Participate in mandatory training and adhere to all health and safety protocols.
  • Work in a variety of environments, including busy clinical and non-clinical areas, and adapt to changing situations as needed.
  • Maintain confidentiality and adhere to all relevant policies and procedures.

Requirements:

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to respond effectively to unpredictable situations and work under pressure.
  • Basic knowledge of health and safety and infection control principles.
  • Ability to learn and adapt to new situations and procedures.
