Job Summary

New Balance is a leading sportswear brand seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to join our team as a Stockroom Supervisor. As a key member of our stockroom team, you will be responsible for maintaining a high level of stockroom organization, ensuring accurate inventory management, and supporting the Store Manager in day-to-day operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Stockroom Management: Maintain a thorough understanding of company objectives and stockroom standards, ensuring seamless implementation and adherence.
  • Keyholder Responsibilities: Open and close the store as required, receiving and processing deliveries, and ensuring a secure environment.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Liaise with the Store Manager on a daily basis to address any stockroom or shop floor issues, ensuring effective communication and resolution.
  • Inventory Management: Ensure the stockroom is well-organized, with all stock tagged, cubed, and merchandised to company standards, utilizing specialized equipment as needed.
  • Delivery and Productivity: Process deliveries efficiently, meeting productivity targets, and supporting the team with store inventory counts.
  • Stock Accuracy: Identify and correct discrepancies in the stock file at the point of delivery, ensuring accuracy and integrity.
  • Team Management: Communicate special stock situations to the team, analyzing and addressing understocked or overstocked conditions.
  • Visual Merchandising: Collaborate with the Store Visual Merchandiser to manage stock-to-floor procedures in a structured and strategic manner.
  • Duty Manager and Floor Leadership: Assume duty manager and floor leadership responsibilities as needed, demonstrating leadership and initiative.
Requirements for Success
  • Retail Experience: Proven experience in stockroom and delivery operations is essential.
  • Self-Driven and Adaptable: Demonstrate self-motivation, lead own learning and development, and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Attention to Detail: Possess excellent attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and precision in all tasks.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills, with fluency in English, are required for effective collaboration and communication.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency with PC software, including spreadsheets, word processing, and inventory management systems, is essential.
  • Flexibility: Demonstrate flexibility in work schedule, including weekends, holidays, and occasional night shifts.
