We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our team at Mitie. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for providing a multi-skilled maintenance service, covering electrical and mechanical disciplines.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct maintenance and repairs on electrical, mechanical, and instrumentation plant to optimize reliability and maintainability.
  • Provide a proactive and reactive maintenance service to all operational equipment, ensuring all key performance indicators are met.
  • Liaise with contractors and external suppliers as required, and complete any necessary paperwork and reports.
  • Ensure all work is carried out in a safe and diligent manner, and report any apparent deficiencies in systems of work or equipment.
Requirements:
  • Appropriate up-to-date training, such as NVQ Level 3 qualification in Engineering Maintenance (multi-discipline).
  • Good knowledge of building statutory compliance and the ability to read and understand technical drawings.
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills, and the ability to communicate effectively, verbally and in writing.

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Maintenance Engineer to join our team. If you have a strong background in electrical and mechanical maintenance, and excellent communication skills, we would love to hear from you.
