Imperium Recruitment is seeking an experienced Equipment Technician to join their team at a busy distribution centre in Chesterfield.

This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to work in a fast-paced environment and be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and optimizing equipment.

The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of electro-mechanical engineering principles and experience working with automated machinery such as conveyors, packaging machinery, palletisers, totes, shuttles, and robotics.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and repair equipment to prevent breakdowns and ensure optimal performance
  • Carry out preventative maintenance tasks on automated machinery
  • Read assembly drawings and use hand tools to strip and reassemble equipment

Requirements:

  • NVQ/BTEC/C&G Level 3 in Electro-Mechanical Engineering
  • A solid understanding of PLCs
  • Experience using CMMS systems and engineering stores
  • Computer literacy
