About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Industrial Project Director to join our client's team. This is a fantastic opportunity to lead industrial construction projects from inception to completion, ensuring delivery on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in managing industrial projects, with particular expertise in the Warehouse & Logistics sector. This role involves overseeing all stages of the development life cycle, from initial due diligence and procurement to project delivery and maintenance.

  • Project Management: Manage industrial construction projects from inception to completion, ensuring delivery on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
  • Client Liaison: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, providing tailored advice and ensuring that their needs are met throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Stakeholder Coordination: Collaborate with investors, developers, and occupiers to align project goals and requirements. Coordinate with internal teams and external contractors to achieve project objectives.
  • Technical Expertise: Apply knowledge of the Warehouse & Logistics sector to manage projects involving temperature-controlled production facilities, fit-outs of distribution facilities, automation systems, and more.
  • Project Planning: Develop and manage project plans, including scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation. Monitor progress and implement changes as necessary to keep projects on track.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, standards, and best practices. Conduct regular site inspections and reviews to maintain high-quality standards.

Key Requirements:

  • Experience: Proven track record in project management within the industrial sector, with specific expertise in Warehouse & Logistics. Experience managing complex, multi-million-pound projects is highly desirable.
  • Qualifications: Relevant degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
