Building Services Technician

About the Role

Approach Personnel Ltd seeks a skilled Air Conditioning/HVAC Engineer to join our team in Coventry and West Midlands. This role requires a strong understanding of HVAC and building maintenance principles, as well as excellent problem-solving skills.

Main Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks on air conditioning systems.
  • Detect and rectify hot/cold issues by adjusting BMS systems.
  • Carry out mechanical maintenance duties on belts, motors, valves, and other equipment.
  • Undertake minor installation work and engage with stakeholders to provide fault diagnostics as required.
Key Requirements
  • National Vocational Qualification (NVQ) Level 2 in Air Conditioning or equivalent.
  • Valid F-GAS 2079 CAT1 certification.
  • Proven experience in building maintenance, preferably in the Air Conditioning industry.
  • Able to work at height, on roofs, up steps, and ladders, and operate MEWPs safely.
  • Familiarity with CAFM systems and ability to control them via iPad.

Estimated Salary: $70,000 - $85,000 per annum
