About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Property Maintenance Surveyor to join our team at Livin Housing. As a Property Maintenance Surveyor, you will be responsible for undertaking inspections of occupied and unoccupied properties, identifying and recording repair issues, and raising necessary works orders.
Key Responsibilities
- Undertake inspections of properties to identify repair issues and raise works orders
- Take ownership of each case until issues are resolved, including checks on completed work and ensuring compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements
- Monitor the work undertaken by contractors to ensure high standards of workmanship
About You
To be successful in this role, you will need to have extensive technical experience of repairs and maintenance services, the ability to effectively diagnose the extent of property repairs, and to issue appropriate work orders in compliance with our policies and procedures.
You will also need to be confident and competent in using digital customer and asset systems to understand both the home and the household, and to recognise the critical importance of data quality in providing an outstanding customer experience.
Requirements
- Relevant Surveying/Building Studies/Construction qualification (or equivalent)
- Ability to demonstrate commitment to continuous personal development
- Willingness to undertake further relevant study, e.g. the Housing Health and Safety Rating System (HHSRS), if required
