Cover Supervisor

The school is seeking a Cover Supervisor to maintain the continuity of learning in the absence of teachers. As a Cover Supervisor, you will oversee classes, ensure a positive learning environment, and manage student behaviour. This role offers a great chance to gain valuable experience in education and make a real impact on the educational journey of our students.
Responsibilities:- Take responsibility for supervising classes during teacher absence, ensuring that learning objectives are met, and students remain engaged.
- Provide support to students in their learning by delivering pre-prepared lessons and activities as directed by teaching staff.
- Maintain discipline and manage classroom behaviour in accordance with school policies, fostering a respectful and inclusive environment for all students.
- Assist with administrative duties such as registering attendance, distributing and collecting materials, and maintaining classroom resources.
- Work collaboratively with teaching staff to ensure the smooth running of the school day and the effective delivery of the curriculum.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage classroom dynamics effectively.
- A passion for working with young people and supporting their learning journey.
