Truck Technician Position in Luton

We have an exciting opportunity for a skilled HGV Technician to join our team at the Cardiff Office.
Salary: Competitive salary package of £45,000 - £65,000 per annum, based on experience.
This role involves the maintenance and repair of HGVs and Light Commercial Vehicles, ensuring they are safe and operational. You will work closely with our team to deliver excellent customer service and achieve high-quality results.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out routine inspections and diagnostic tests on HGVs to identify potential issues.
- Perform repairs and maintenance on a variety of vehicle systems, including electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic components.
- Assemble and fabricate parts as needed to ensure optimal vehicle performance.
- Keep accurate records of all repairs and services performed on each vehicle.
- Collaborate with colleagues to resolve complex issues and find effective solutions.
- Deliver exceptional customer service by communicating clearly with clients about their vehicle needs.
What We're Looking For
- Proven mechanical knowledge and experience in equipment repair.
- Ability to handle heavy loads during repairs (heavy lifting).
- Skilled use of hand tools and power tools, with a focus on safety.
- Excellent customer service skills for interacting with clients.
- Accurate assembly of components and ability to work efficiently.
- Knowledge of electrical systems relevant to HGVs is beneficial.
