Job Title: Early Years Practitioner

Barnardo's is seeking an exceptional Early Years Practitioner to join our team at Finlay Nursery in Gloucester. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality early years education and care to young children and their families.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver high-quality early years education and care to children under 5
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to provide a supportive and inclusive environment
  • Develop and implement engaging learning activities that promote children's cognitive, social, and emotional development
  • Build strong relationships with children, parents, and carers to ensure effective communication and support
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures that promote the well-being and safety of children
Requirements:
  • Early Education or Childcare qualification (Level 3 minimum)
  • Excellent knowledge of the EYFS (Early Years Foundation Stage)
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to work to targets and deadlines
  • Good time management skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • DBS clearance
