The Role:
• Manage all aspects of purchasing, including supplier relationships, quotations, and order processing.
• Develop and implement purchasing strategies to ensure cost-effectiveness and efficiency.
• Analyze data to inform purchasing decisions and drive business results.
• Place purchasing orders and manage the administration of purchases.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Communicate effectively with suppliers, colleagues, and other stakeholders.
• Work closely with the accounts department to ensure fast and effective exchange of information on every aspect of supplier relationship (payment, invoicing, credit items, etc.).
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives.
Skills and Attributes Required:
• Customer account management, purchasing or sales experience.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to influence and build strong supplier relations.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and SAP software.
• Organized and detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and timeliness.
• Proven ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Experience working in a fast-paced environment.
The Hours:
Monday – Friday, 8am - 4pm
Benefits Include:
• Company provides 8% pension contribution but employee must pay in at least 1%.
