Structural Engineer Job Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Structural Engineer to join our Building Structures team in Epsom. Our client provides multidisciplinary engineering service solutions across various projects, including buildings and infrastructure.

The Role:
  • Develop conceptual solutions to problems through to detailed design
  • Assist in the execution of projects within defined design and cost parameters
  • Undertake research, data collection, and presentation of information
  • Present results to clients under the supervision of the lead designer
  • Comply with Quality and Technical Assurance Procedures and work in compliance with BIM standards, Digital Plan of Work, and the project BIM Execution plan
  • Represent the company on site visits and at design team meetings
  • Assist/mentor the development of apprentices and less experienced staff
About You:
  • Degree in Structural or Civil Engineering
  • Graduate Member of relevant body (IStructE or ICE)
  • Working towards or achieved Chartered Membership (IStructE or ICE)
  • Proven experience in the design of structures using conventional engineering materials (steel, concrete, timber, masonry) to Eurocodes
  • Experience in the use of structural analysis design software (Robot Structural Analysis and Revit experience is desirable but not essential)
  • Strong communication and presentation skills that can support client relationships
  • Flexibility and willingness to travel and work within other offices for periods of time
  • Experience with parametric modelling software and software coding (Dynamo, Python, C++ etc.) is desirable and may be a development target
