The Recruitment Co is seeking a highly skilled Quality Engineer to join our client in Warrington on a permanent basis. This exciting opportunity will see the successful candidate play a crucial role in ensuring an effective quality management system is implemented and maintained across all aspects of production.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the ISO 9001 annual audit process, ensuring compliance with stringent audited standards
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to establish quality requirements for new product development, driving innovation and efficiency
  • Educate the workforce on their responsibility in relation to quality assurance, promoting a culture of excellence
  • Develop and roll out effective training in relation to quality compliance, enhancing skills and knowledge
  • Ensure effective root cause analysis and reporting occurs as required, identifying areas for improvement
  • Produce a monthly objective report to the Operations Manager, providing critical insights and recommendations
  • Complete weekly RCCA status reports, monitoring progress and performance
  • Lead Root cause and Corrective action investigations in all aspects of production, customer complaint and supply chain, resolving issues efficiently
  • Manage and perform internal and external audits, audit reporting and RCCA management, maintaining regulatory compliance
  • Developing SOP's, Work Instructions and clear standards of practice, streamlining processes
  • Developing compilation of quality control plans, ensuring consistency and effectiveness
  • Monitor production processes and identify opportunities for process optimisation and efficiency improvement, driving business growth
  • Monitor and control all aspects of change management on site, minimising disruption
  • Manage risk-based Quality Inspection activity, prioritising tasks and resources
Requirements:
  • Essential experience of managing the ISO 9001 audit, with a strong understanding of audited standards
  • Strong positive and ethical outlook, with the ability to develop constructive relationships
  • Degree educated in a relevant engineering discipline or relevant experience with equivalent qualifications
  • Experience of working to stringent audited ISO quality standards, with a proven track record of compliance
  • Experience and knowledge of BS EN specifications and regulatory requirements, staying up-to-date with industry developments
  • Excellent report writing skills, with the ability to communicate complex information effectively
  • Excellent organisation skills, with the ability to effectively prioritise workload and manage multiple tasks
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a detail-oriented mindset
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
