Head Chef

We are seeking an ambitious Culinary Expert and Team Manager to join our team at Compass Group UK & Ireland. As a key member of our Defence, Government, and Energy services sector, you will be responsible for preparing and serving exceptional food experiences for Defence clients. Your role will involve overseeing and implementing menu changes, identifying opportunities to improve our food services, and supporting with the creation of new menus and creative food concepts.

The ideal candidate will be passionate about great-tasting food and exceptional customer service, hold a City & Guilds 706/1 & 2 or NVQ equivalent, and have experience supervising a team. You will also have experience in a similar Chef role and hold a Food Hygiene certificate. • Overseeing kitchen cleaning responsibilities to maintain hygiene standards
• Complying with Food Handling, Hygiene and Health and Safety regulations
