About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Catering Assistant to join our team at Primrose Court in Leeds. As a Catering Assistant, you will play a vital role in delivering a high-quality catering service to our residents, ensuring their nutritional needs are met and their dining experience is enjoyable.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and serve meals to residents, adhering to health, safety, and hygiene standards.
  • Manage food storage, handling, and disposal, minimizing waste and ensuring compliance with food safety procedures.
  • Assist with cleaning and maintaining kitchen equipment, utensils, and work areas.
  • Collaborate with the Chef Manager to plan and implement menus, ensuring variety and nutritional balance.
  • Provide excellent customer service, responding to resident feedback and concerns.

Requirements

  • Level 2 food safety certificate or equivalent.
  • Experience in a catering or hospitality environment, with knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and maintaining a high level of productivity.
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and bank holidays.
