Job Title: Big Data Lead

HUNTER BOND LIMITED is seeking a highly skilled Big Data Lead to join their team in London. As a key member of the organization, you will be responsible for providing technical leadership in architecting and designing end-to-end solutions for the company's datalake initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the development of data engineering solutions using Spark and Databricks
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive improvements in design, processes, and implementation
  • Manage a remote engineering team of 15 people to ensure operational management, scalability, and extensibility
  • Develop and maintain strong stakeholder relationships
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in data engineering
Requirements:
  • Strong implementation experience using Spark and Databricks
  • Cloud experience (ideally Azure)
  • Previous experience in an implementation programme
  • Data Warehouse expertise
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills
  • Strong IT background, preferably in Telco / Wireless service providers
