Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled HGV Class 1 Driver to join our team at Challenge - TRG Recruitment Limited. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for ensuring the timely and efficient delivery of products to our clients' stores.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate a Class 1 HGV vehicle to transport goods to various locations, adhering to all relevant regulations and safety guidelines.
  • Accurately record and manage delivery schedules, ensuring timely and efficient delivery of products.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and other stakeholders to resolve any issues or concerns related to delivery operations.
  • Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance knowledge and skills in areas such as vehicle maintenance, safety procedures, and customer service.

Requirements

  • Valid LGV C+E, HGV 1, Class 1 UK licence with no more than 6 points.
  • UK digital tachograph card and full DQC (CPC card).
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts, including nights and weekends, as required.
