Care and Support for Brain Injury Client

**Job Summary:**

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team in Stockport, Manchester. The successful candidate will work with a male individual who has a brain injury, providing care and support to enable him to live independently.

**Key Responsibilities:**

* Engage with the client's personalised routines and care programme
* Assist with household cleaning and maintenance
* Provide emotional support and companionship
* Maintain accurate records of care provided and report any changes in the client's condition
* Collaborate with healthcare professionals and family members to ensure comprehensive care

**Requirements:**

* Previous experience in a similar role
* Experience of epilepsy management
* Nonsmoker
* Enjoys exercising
* Driver with business insurance on their own vehicle
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Compassionate, patient, and empathetic nature
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Flexibility to work the specified hours

**Training & Background Checks:**

An enhanced DBS check and full training will be provided prior to commencing work with our client. You will also be supported by our clinical lead nurse for the area.
