Equipment Maintenance Lead

We are seeking a skilled Equipment Maintenance Lead to join our team at Avondale Foods Ltd. The ideal candidate will have experience in fast-paced manufacturing environments and be proficient in maintenance roles, including mechanical and electrical qualifications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement preventative maintenance programs for equipment and facilities to ensure reliability and operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with the quality team to identify and mitigate potential food safety risks related to equipment and premises conditions.
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance and implement corrective actions for any deficiencies during internal or external audits.
- Train relevant staff members in the proper handling of equipment and production regulations.
- Lead and manage daily operations of maintenance within the hygiene department, including scheduling, troubleshooting, and repairs.
Requirements:
- At least 2 years of experience in a maintenance role, including mechanical and electrical qualifications.
- Exceptional leadership, time management, and organization skills.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage at all levels.
