About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Neurodevelopmental Specialist to join our team at Sussex Partnership NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality clinical services to children and young people with neurodevelopmental disorders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments, including psychiatric and physical investigations, to diagnose and develop treatment plans for children and young people with neurodevelopmental disorders.
  • Work collaboratively with other specialists, consultants, and specialty doctors to develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
  • Provide expert advice and guidance to colleagues and other healthcare professionals on neurodevelopmental disorders and their management.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of new services and programs to improve the care and outcomes for children and young people with neurodevelopmental disorders.

Requirements

  • 12 years post-qualification experience in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry, with significant experience in neurodevelopmental disorders.
  • Excellent clinical and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with children, young people, and their families.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex clinical data and develop effective treatment plans.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team, with a commitment to delivering high-quality patient care.
