Psychology Teacher

Step Teachers are seeking a Psychology Teacher for a Long-Term Supply role. This position involves teaching Psychology to students and working effectively with other staff members.

This academy aims to provide a rich and high-quality curriculum for every student, enabling them to develop their knowledge and understanding. The school advocates for each student to be respectful and responsible for their actions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Strong knowledge of Psychology curriculum and ability to assess students, monitor their progress, and provide constructive feedback.
• Organised and professional maintenance of the classroom and associated resources.
• Work effectively with other members of staff, both within the classroom and throughout the school.
• Able to plan and deliver engaging and comprehensive lessons.
• Compliance with the school's policies and reliable implementation of these.

Requirements:

• Hold QTS/QTLS or an equivalent qualification.
• Recent Further Education experience as a Psychology Teacher in FE education.
• Good level of classroom and behaviour management.
• Relevant Psychology or Social Science related degree desirable.
• SEND experience desirable.
