Job Opportunity

We are seeking an ambitious Insurance Broker with experience in commercial insurance risks to join our client, a successful insurance brokerage.

This role involves inheriting a book of commercial insurance clients and growing the business through new business development, client relationships, and cross-sales.

The ideal candidate will have over 2 years of experience in a commercial insurance brokerage, working with a wide range of commercial insurance risks.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Responsible for growing a book of commercial clients through new business and arranging policies for new clients.
  • Liaise with Underwriters to secure client retention and identify new markets and opportunities.
  • Develop and implement strategies to grow the business and improve client relationships.

The successful candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues.

About the Role:

  • Oversee a book of commercial insurance clients across various industry sectors.
  • Provide expertise and guidance to junior team members and contribute to the development of the team.
  • Identify opportunities to grow the business through cross-sales and referral leads.

Main duties:

  • Responsible for growing a book of commercial clients through new business and arranging policies for new clients.
  • Liaise with Underwriters to secure client retention and identify new markets and opportunities.
