We are seeking a Professor in Edinburgh Business School to provide leadership for the School's knowledge exchange activity as Associate Executive Dean for Business and Enterprise. The successful candidate will have an extensive track record of engaging with business, public and policy communities, and will provide effective strategic leadership in the development of innovative knowledge exchange activities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide leadership in the planning, organisation and development of learning and teaching activities.
  • Review programme and course content and materials regularly.
  • Lead the development and application of innovative teaching techniques.
  • Ensure compliance with quality standards and regulations.
  • Lead the development and implementation of research and scholarship strategy.
  • Lead and co-ordinate research and scholarship activities.
  • Lead collaborative University bids for scholarship and consultancy funds.
  • Contribute to the communication of the wider University strategy.
  • Act as the final arbiter in local disputes.
Requirements
  • A PhD or equivalent qualification in a relevant field.
  • Proven track record in engaged research and scholarship.
  • Proven track record of leadership in a Higher Education institution.
