Job Title: Innovative Engineering Specialist

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic engineering specialist to join our dynamic team at Wayman Learning Trust. The ideal candidate will engage students with stimulating and practical engineering instruction, promoting both theoretical knowledge and hands-on experience.

This role includes teaching engineering concepts to students at various levels, from introductory courses to advanced topics. Key responsibilities include:
  • Developing and implementing a comprehensive and engaging engineering curriculum.
  • Instructing students on engineering principles across a variety of topics, including mechanics, electronics, robotics, and design technology.
  • Leading hands-on projects and experiments to enhance students' practical skills and real-world understanding.
  • Collaborating with colleagues to integrate engineering concepts into interdisciplinary projects and initiatives.
  • Providing personalised support and mentorship to students, encouraging their academic and personal growth.
  • Staying updated with industry trends and advancements in engineering education.

Requirements:
  • A degree in Engineering, Engineering Education, or a related field.
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent certification.
  • Experience teaching engineering or related subjects at the secondary level.
  • Strong knowledge of engineering principles and practical applications.
  • A commitment to fostering a creative, inclusive, and positive learning environment.

Salary and Benefits:
