Electronics Engineer Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Electronics Engineer to join our R&D team in Oxfordshire. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing state-of-the-art positioning, mapping, and navigation products for the automotive, autonomous vehicles, and surveying/geo-mapping industries.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop electronic systems, including hardware and firmware, for high-precision positioning and navigation products.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate electronic systems with software and mechanical components.
  • Develop and maintain test benches and verification processes for electronic systems.
  • Analyze and troubleshoot complex electronic system faults.
  • Contribute to the development of code quality processes, including code reviews, version control, and formal release processes.
Requirements:
  • 3+ years of experience in electronics design and firmware development.
  • Strong knowledge of digital and analogue electronics, as well as software design principles.
  • Experience with C/C++ programming languages and real-time embedded systems.
  • Knowledge of common communication protocols and multi-threading concepts.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with inertial sensors, inertial navigation systems, or digital signal processing.
  • Practical networking experience with Ethernet, CAN, or other protocols.
  • Mechanical/system design experience, including enclosure design and thermal analysis.
