About the Role

We're seeking a skilled Video Editor to join our team at DTC Jobs. As an E-commerce Video Editor, you'll be responsible for crafting engaging video content that showcases our products in the best possible light.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Crafting Video Content: Develop attention-grabbing video content optimized for our e-commerce channels, including product pages, social media ads, and email campaigns.
  2. Editing Raw Footage: Edit raw footage into polished videos that effectively communicate the value proposition of our products to customers.
  3. Implementing Direct Response Strategies: Implement direct response strategies into video content to drive conversion rates and maximize ROI.
  4. Collaboration with Marketing Team: Collaborate with the marketing team to develop video concepts that align with campaign objectives and target audience preferences.
  5. Staying Up-to-Date: Stay up-to-date on e-commerce trends, customer behavior, and industry best practices to inform video content strategies.
  6. Project Management: Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality video assets.
  7. Integration with Marketing Collateral: Work closely with graphic designers and copywriters to ensure video content integrates seamlessly with other marketing collateral.
  8. Video Performance Analysis: Analyze video performance metrics and user feedback to continuously optimize and refine video content for maximum impact.
Qualifications
  1. Proven Experience: Proven experience as a video editor in an e-commerce setting, with a strong portfolio showcasing successful e-commerce video campaigns.
  2. Video Editing Software: Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar tools.
  3. E-commerce Principles: Deep understanding of e-commerce principles and the buyer's journey, with a focus on driving conversions through video content.
  4. Creative Storytelling: Creative storytelling skills and the ability to translate product features into compelling visual narratives that resonate with customers.
  5. Organizational Skills: Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.
  6. Communication Skills: Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively within a cross-functional team.
  7. Video Optimization Techniques: Knowledge of video optimization techniques for e-commerce platforms, including mobile responsiveness and A/B testing.
  8. Education: Bachelor's degree in film production, multimedia, marketing, or a related field (preferred).
