Senior Quantity Surveyor Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our team at RGB Recruitment Ltd. As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring project financial completion and mitigating risks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To maximize the commercial efficiency of the project while reducing the risk profile
  • Preparation of internal commercial reporting and other reports as required, including measurement, valuation, and agreement of work sections
  • Preparation of tender enquires for subcontract works packages and analysis of tender returns
  • Preparation of valuations and applications for payment with full supporting documentation in accordance with the contract
  • Administration of subcontractor/supplier accounts from requisition preparation to authorization of subcontract payments and agreement of final accounts

Requirements:

  • Minimum of HNC or equivalent in construction
  • Experience of main contracting/large value projects/NEC contract
  • Strong written, oral communication skills and negotiation
  • Strong computer skills, especially with Microsoft Office and Project
  • Relevant driving license
