**Teaching Assistant Role: Supporting Students with ASC and MLD**

Leader Recruitment Group is recruiting a Secondary SEND Teaching Assistant to provide support to students with Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC) and Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD). This role involves working in both specialist and mainstream settings in Pontefract, West Yorkshire.

**Job Details:**

The ideal candidate will have experience supporting children or young people with SEND, particularly ASC and MLD. They should possess a patient, empathetic, and encouraging approach to working with students with additional needs. Excellent communication skills are essential for building effective relationships with students, staff, and parents.

A flexible and resilient approach is required to meet the evolving needs of students and the school environment. A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children is also essential.

**What We Offer:**

We provide competitive pay rates, starting at around £25,000-£30,000 per annum, depending on experience. Additionally, we offer a £100 refer-a-friend bonus (terms apply), free CPD training, including Team Teach, and a dedicated consultant for ongoing support and guidance.
