Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Cardiac Services Specialist to join our team at Duchy Hospital, Truro. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering and assisting in our outpatient clinics, performing and reporting echo, and undertaking other non-invasive investigations.
About the Role
This is a great opportunity for an experienced Cardiac professional to be part of the amazing 'Team Duchy' and to further the development of the elective cardiology service at the Duchy Hospital. The cardiology service currently provides a range of outpatient clinics, diagnostic testing for both in-patients and outpatients, and our lab offers a range of procedures including elective angiography, PCI, device implantation, Cardioversion and Transoesophageal echocardiography.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver and assist in outpatient clinics
- Perform and report echo
- Undertake other non-invasive investigations
- Support cath lab lists for elective angiography, PCI and device implant/explant
Requirements
The successful candidate should be experienced within the cardiac field and have professional accreditation with BSE and/or HRUK/IBHRE. Competence to undertake other non-invasive investigations such as stress echo, treadmills, and pacemaker FU including ILR, CRT, ICD and brady devices would be advantageous.
