About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Cleaning Operative to join our team at EMCOR UK. As a Cleaning Operative, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene in our facilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out cleaning tasks to ensure agreed standards and prioritize workload.
- Report any repairs or maintenance issues noticed during cleaning duties.
- Respond to reactive requests and provide best practice in all cleaning activities.
- Conduct daily maintenance on machinery and report any issues.
- Carry out additional or special cleans as instructed.
- Ensure adequate stocks of consumables are available and request replenishments as needed.
- Attend and complete training as required.
- Use chemicals and equipment safely and effectively.
- Liaise with customers and clients in a professional manner.
- Work safely and report any health and safety risks or hazards.
- Maintain good housekeeping of equipment and storage areas.
Person Specification
We are looking for a candidate with:
- Previous experience of workplace cleaning (advantageous).
- Good time keeping and attendance.
- Experience of providing good customer service.
- A methodical and meticulous approach to work.
- The ability to read and speak English to ensure safe working practices.
