About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Playworker Apprentice. In this role, you will have the opportunity to develop your skills and knowledge in childcare, working closely with experienced professionals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Establish a safe and engaging play environment, utilizing creativity and resourcefulness to meet the needs of children.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to plan, prepare, and deliver activities that promote learning and development.
  • Provide exceptional care and support to children, fostering a sense of belonging and well-being.
  • Contribute to the maintenance of accurate records, ensuring confidentiality and adherence to data protection policies.
  • Support children with literacy and numeracy skills, using evidence-based approaches to facilitate progress.
Training and Development

As a Playworker Apprentice, you will have access to ongoing training and development opportunities, including:

  • Online learning modules focused on childcare best practices.
  • Webinars and workshops on topics such as child development, behavior management, and inclusion.
  • Practical sessions and visits in the workplace, providing hands-on experience and mentorship.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Able to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
  • Prior experience in childcare or a related field is advantageous.
