We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Clinical Fellow to join our team at King\u0027s College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust. The successful candidate will have a strong background in Microbiology and Infectious Diseases, with a proven track record of working in a close-knit team and collaborating with medical and paramedical staff.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Registration with the General Medical Council and completion of at least 3 years\u0027 postgraduate training or its equivalent gained on a part-time or flexible basis.
  • Demonstration of interest in infection-related activities, including Microbiology, Virology, antimicrobial stewardship, infection control, and infectious diseases.
  • Understanding of day-to-day organisation of Microbiology, Infection Control services, and Infectious Diseases services.
  • Record of undertaking audit projects and experience of clinical research.
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to cover colleagues\u0027 absence when indicated.

Desirable Qualifications and Experience:

  • Higher degree or Diploma eligible for MRCP or equivalent, Diploma of Tropical Medicine, MSc, or PhD.
  • Experience in Medical Microbiology, Infection Control, and antimicrobial stewardship.
  • Experience in Infectious Diseases and teaching experience/qualification.
  • Familiarity with information technology and general computer skills.
