About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Project Manager to join our team at Hays Construction and Property. As a key member of our project delivery team, you will be responsible for managing all mechanical aspects of our projects, ensuring timely and budget-friendly delivery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Attend project start-up meetings and oversee mechanical aspects, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.
  • Familiarize yourself with project details and specifications, ensuring a thorough understanding of project requirements.
  • Collate technical submittals, ensuring timely issuance and approval.
  • Manage labor tracker, maintaining accurate records of project progress.
  • Prepare and maintain Progress Reports, highlighting any changes or variations.
  • Liaise with main contractors and client-based site teams, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
  • Oversee coordination and delivery of project plant and equipment, ensuring adequate materials are available.
  • Develop and implement construction and commissioning programs, ensuring smooth project execution.
  • Manage the K&M handover process, maintaining the K&M Document Management System.
  • Project-specific scheduling and coordination with subcontractors.
  • Attend site meetings, addressing any points raised and ensuring effective project delivery.
Requirements
  • Extensive experience in a Mechanical Project Manager or similar role.
  • Successful track record of delivering large-scale projects.
  • Qualification in Construction/Project Management is preferred.
  • Experience in supervising teams.
