About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer to join our team in Hinckley, Leicestershire. As a key member of our collaborative team, you will be responsible for ensuring production equipment remains operational for our manufacturing operation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct reactive and proactive maintenance, projects, and inventory control to minimize downtime.
  • Identify spares required on-site to reduce breakdowns and optimize equipment performance.
  • Drive continuous improvement ideas and take ownership of individual projects and departmental initiatives.
  • Ensure health and safety policies are adhered to and report near misses and hazards.
  • Manage stock allocation, stock checks, and stock management processes in line with departmental procedures.
Requirements
  • Experience in a similar role working with CNC/PLC/PC controlled machine tool or process control production equipment.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, including PLC, electrical, pneumatic, and mechanical.
  • Experience in fault finding on Siemens S7 and/or Mitsubishi PLCs.
  • Apprentice-trained or time-served in Multi-skilled maintenance.
  • Highly motivated with excellent problem-solving skills, good communication skills, and excellent time management skills.
