We are seeking an experienced Mental Health Nurse to join our Primary Care Mental Health Team in Sandwell. As a key member of our team, you will work closely with Primary, Secondary, and Specialist Care Teams to provide high-quality holistic care to individuals with mental health problems.
Main ResponsibilitiesThe successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Delivering recovery-focused psychological interventions to service users with complex mental health needs
- Working autonomously across designated GP practices, managing their own clinics
- Reviewing patients presenting with mental health issues, considering a range of treatment options, and providing highly specialized advice concerning care when appropriate
- Participating in a developing team where you can influence improvements for the benefits of our patients
- Having excellent assessment skills and being able to direct care with compassion and efficiency
- Promoting mental health and liaising with a wide range of statutory and non-statutory organizations
- Being a confident communicator and working well with a range of professionals

RequirementsTo be successful in this role, you will need:
- RMN qualification
- 12 months experience working as a qualified nurse in mental health
- 6 months community experience in mental health (desirable)
