An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Commercial Insights Leader to join Datatech Analytics, one of the UK's leading recruitment agencies in the field of analytics.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the Commercial division, which generates the majority of revenue through advertising sales, brand partnerships, and sponsorships. This is an excellent chance to work in a hybrid environment with Central London offices and enjoy a negotiable salary dependent on experience, estimated to be around £84,000-£100,000+

Key Responsibilities
  • Build strong relationships with C-suite and Senior Leaders to provide high-value insights that drive profitable business decisions.
  • Interpret and translate complex data into actionable recommendations using effective storytelling techniques.
  • Negotiate agreed portfolios of insight deliverables with stakeholders and manage the workstack, priorities, and team capacity across Insight Analysts and Specialists.
  • Recommend innovative approaches to insight based on new market perspectives, data sets, analysis methods, or modelling tools.
  • Identify required data paths and collaborate with other Business Partners, Insight Analysts, and Specialists to source advanced expert research or analysis capacity.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Experience of supporting a commercial division or commercial sales team, specifically where revenues were advertising-based.
  • A proven track record of insight provision and knowledge of the activities that underpin strong insight and intelligence.
  • A good understanding of industry sector, competitor activity, business pressures, market, and financial challenges, as well as the key drivers to achieve a pivot to digital strategy.
  • Gravitas and confidence to engage with C-suite/Senior Leaders and build long-term trusted relationships.
  • Influencing and storytelling skills to translate complex data into clear messages and bring high-value recommendations that drive profitable decision-making.
  • Collaboration skills to build a collaborative environment within the insights function and across the business to drive the best possible outcome.
  • An appetite to innovate and stay up-to-date with value-add and best-in-class insight methods, tools, and techniques relevant to business challenges.
  • Experience of leading a specialist team to deliver an accurate, high-quality, and effective data service to Exec level stakeholders.
