Job Title: Apprentice Gas Engineer

Sanctuary Group is seeking a qualified domestic Gas Engineer to join our Regional Gas team. As an Apprentice Gas Engineer, you will be responsible for installing, servicing, and repairing gas boilers, central heating systems, and radiators in our tenants' houses and other company-owned properties.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Install gas boilers, cylinders, radiators, and full heating systems
  • Service, repair, maintenance, and diagnostics of gas boilers, central heating, and unvented hot water systems
  • Utilize analytical and trade skills to diagnose and repair faults
  • Complete and submit gas safety records, identify, and respond to risks, record logging, and complete work via electronic device tablet or phone
  • Ensure tools and equipment are maintained in good condition and stocks are replenished as needed from our partner suppliers
Requirements:
  • To ensure full compliance with CDM 2015 legislation, candidates applying for this role must be qualified to ACS, CCN1, CENWAT, CKR1, CPA1, HTR1, Energy efficiency G3, WBL, or currently undertaking the qualifications
  • Ideally, you will have experience of installing, servicing, and repairing boilers
  • The ability to work alone on a variety of different boiler types and systems
  • Have a proactive approach to health and safety, creating a safe environment for all
  • This role will involve driving on company business. In order to drive a company vehicle, drivers must hold a full valid UK driving licence
