Job Title: Behaviour Support Assistant

Teaching Personnel is seeking a Behaviour Support Assistant to join a school in Devizes. The successful candidate will work with students with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) difficulties, providing individualised support and promoting emotional wellbeing and social skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan and support students with SEMH needs to reach their potential in a professional and caring manner
  • Establish positive and healthy relationships with students, staff, and parents
  • Develop and implement individualised curricula based on student needs
  • Communicate effectively with students, staff, and parents, using a range of strategies to meet individual needs
  • Keep accurate records and write reports as required
  • Ensure the highest level of safety and safeguarding at all times
Requirements:
  • Experience working with students with SEMH difficulties
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Knowledge of SEMH principles and practices
  • DBS clearance and relevant qualifications
