About the Job

We are seeking an Administrative Assistant to serve as the Department of Safety Office point of contact for the campus community and visitors.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Serving as the primary point of contact for the Department of Safety Office
  2. Overseeing employee parking, permits, registrations, assignments, and data entry
  3. Providing administrative support, including word processing, file management, and record-keeping
  4. Ensuring exceptional customer service to the campus community
  5. Screening incoming calls, providing information, and scheduling appointments
  6. Assisting with event planning, room reservations, and catering services
  7. Managing departmental logistics, including budgeting and ordering office supplies
  8. Updating the department's website, training new hires, and conducting driver testing

Requirements:

  • Strong interpersonal and human relation skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs
  • Ability to learn campus software
  • Valid driver's license and personal insurance
