Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly experienced Taxation Specialist to join our EMEA team in Qualcomm. This role will involve managing the direct tax reporting and compliance for Qualcomm entities in the UK and Europe, as well as supporting the business from a direct tax perspective.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the direct tax reporting (US GAAP and local GAAP) and compliance for Qualcomm UK entities
  • Prepare and review quarterly reports on ETR, entity forecasts, cash and R&Os for countries responsible
  • Support tax audits in countries responsible, leveraging internal functional expertise and service providers as required
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of corporate tax experience in industry or practice
  • Tax provision experience and understanding of accounting pronouncements
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills: clear thinker with ability to clearly link financial results to operational performance drivers
