Store Operations Manager

Deichmann Shoes is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Store Operations Manager to support our growing business. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing managerial cover across a cluster of stores, including High Wycombe, Hemel Hempstead, Uxbridge, Slough, Reading, and other locations within a reasonable commuting distance.

This is a full-time, permanent position that requires flexibility to work across the week. The ideal candidate will have previous experience at supervisor/management level in a retail setting or similar, and be keen to progress their career in store management.

Key responsibilities include:
  • Motivating and coaching the team to deliver excellent customer service
  • Leading by example in promoting and upselling products
  • Drafting rotas in line with payroll budgets
  • Stock management
  • Analysis of sales figures and reports
  • Ensuring all company standards are implemented and maintained
  • Working to targets and hitting company KPIs
  • Assisting with the recruitment and development of the team


The successful candidate will be a hands-on leader with experience in retail or a related industry sector, possessing a positive and flexible approach with a can-do attitude. They will also have strong communication skills, methodical and organized with a structured approach to work, and strong numeracy skills. A full UK driving license is preferred due to the travel involved.

Salary: £29,000
