Job Description

Murphy is currently recruiting for a Safety Advisor Rail Project Lead to work with the Transportation department on the TRUe project based in Leeds. This role requires an individual who can carry out regular assurance activities at sites and workplaces to ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and statutory provisions.

The ideal candidate will have experience in accident/incident investigations, data analysis, and making recommendations to prevent reoccurrences. They will also be responsible for developing and implementing SHES campaigns and improvement plans in agreement with the SHES Management.

Key responsibilities include reviewing SHES plans, ensuring they cover sufficient risk identification and mitigation, procedures, and documentation. The successful candidate will also provide visible SHES support on the project and have working knowledge of rail or civil engineering interfaces and practices.
