The successful candidate will have extensive experience in managing accounts receivable functions, with a strong focus on driving efficiency and accuracy. They will be responsible for overseeing the entire process, from invoicing and reconciliation to payment collection and credit control.

This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires exceptional leadership skills, strong analytical abilities, and excellent communication skills. The ideal candidate will be able to work collaboratively with the finance team to drive efficiency and accuracy within the Accounts Receivable function.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and streamline invoicing, reconciliation, and payment collection processes across multiple locations.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key customers, including local authorities and health sector organisations, ensuring timely payments and effective resolution of any disputes.
  • Work collaboratively with the finance team to manage credit terms, assess creditworthiness, and mitigate risk while supporting business growth initiatives.
  • Identify and implement enhancements to systems and workflows to optimise efficiency and accuracy within the Accounts Receivable function.
  • Prepare and present regular performance reports on KPIs, cash flow, and receivables to the senior leadership team.
  • Partner with other departments to align financial processes and support strategic objectives as the business scales further.

Salary: £65,000 - £85,000 per annum, depending on experience.
