Intertek Wilton's Mechanical Testing Department provides high-quality services for a diverse range of clients.
The primary responsibility of the job holder is to provide mechanical testing services for various customers across industries, including automotive, medical, and energy.
Results are reported in accordance with ISO 17025, and collaboration with team members on other projects is required.
About You
We are looking for someone with:
- A good understanding of mechanical and physical testing, including tensile, compression, flex, and fatigue.
- Knowledge of international test methods and OEM engineering specifications.
- Strong planning and organisational skills, including effective time and work management.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Experience of working to quality standards.
- Computer literacy.
About the Opportunity
As a Mechanical Analyst, your primary responsibility will be to provide project-specific analyses using established methods and reporting results in accordance with Intertek Quality Standards and ISO 17025.
The role includes, but is not limited to, the following activities:
- Carrying out testing according to established methods.
- Independently performing bespoke testing to meet customer requirements.
- Providing written reports in a timely and accurate manner to meet customer requirements.

In this opportunity, you'll be joining our Mechanical and Physical Property Department. You will be based in Wilton, where the site offers an on-site restaurant, gym, and is easily accessible from both the A1(M) and A19.
