About the Role

At Esland, we are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Therapeutic Care Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our support staff, you will play a vital role in providing immediate intervention and trauma-informed, therapeutic support to our young people. Our Buxton home is a two-bed service that offers a safe and nurturing environment for our children to thrive.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality, therapeutic care to our young people, promoting their emotional, social, and educational development
  • Develop and implement individualized support plans to meet the unique needs of each child
  • Work collaboratively with our multi-disciplinary team to ensure seamless delivery of our services
  • Participate in regular training and professional development to enhance your skills and knowledge

Requirements:

  • A level 3 (or above) diploma in residential childcare (desirable)
  • A full driving license issued in the UK (essential)
  • Applicants must have full right to work in the UK with no restrictions (essential)
  • Values in line with Esland's, such as taking a therapeutic, person-centred approach to childcare (essential)
