KS2 Teacher

We are working closely with a primary school in the area to recruit a KS2 teacher due to scheduled staff absences. This is a full-time position, 8.30-3.30 Monday-Friday, starting immediately for the remainder of the academic year.
Key Responsibilities:- Lesson Planning and Delivery: Create engaging and age-appropriate lessons that meet the needs of KS2 students and align with the national curriculum.
- Classroom Environment: Establish a positive, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment where all students feel valued and encouraged to participate.
- Differentiated Instruction: Cater to the diverse learning needs and abilities of your students through effective instruction.
- Assessment and Feedback: Assess student progress through various formative and summative assessments, providing constructive feedback to support their development.
- Relationship Building: Build strong relationships with students, parents, and colleagues to foster a supportive educational community.
- Professional Development: Participate in school events, extracurricular activities, and professional development opportunities to enhance your teaching practice and contribute to the school community.
- Qualifications: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent certification.
- Experience: Experience teaching KS2 students preferred, but newly qualified teachers are also encouraged to apply.
- Skills: Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Passion: Passion for early childhood education and a commitment to creating a positive learning environment.
- DBS: Up-to-date DBS on the Update Service – or be willing to get one through Teaching Personnel.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
